Morgan Freeman, 86, Suffers Massive Health Shock

This week’s press tour for Morgan Freeman’s newest project had to be cancelled due to his illness.

On Tuesday, Freeman was scheduled to appear in London with two of his co-stars to promote the upcoming series Special Ops: Lioness, but he opted to skip the events.

The American actor decided to stay in the country after being ill with a “fever,” and medical professionals thought he might have a “contagious infection.”

Freeman and his co-stars Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman were going to the UK to promote their new spy film Special Ops: Lioness. Morgan, though, remained in the US and was conspicuously absent from a number of London news conferences.

On Tuesday, Zoe and Nicole went to get a preview of their Paramount+ program. The host of The One Show, Alex Jones, voiced her disappointment that Morgan was unable to attend when the two actresses appeared.

Morgan’s vacation had to be canceled, according to his representative, because he had a contagious virus and a fever. However, he is feeling great right now.

The Paramount+ series Special Ops: Lioness, which Morgan will soon be starring in, has a busy press schedule, keeping his co-stars Zoe and Nicole busy. On Tuesday, they went to a photocall at the IET London and a screening at the Tate Britain.

A real-life CIA program served as the inspiration for the spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness. The narrative centers on Marine Joe, played by Zoe, as she balances her personal and professional lives while serving as a crucial CIA agent in the fight against terrorism.

Morgan, Zoe, Nicole, Laysla De Oliveira, and Michael Kelly are among the series’ brilliant cast members. The series was written by Taylor Sheridan, who is most renowned for his westerns.

In the much awaited show, due for release on July 23, Morgan plays Edwin Mullins, the US secretary of state. In The Lioness Program, Zoe assumes the lead role of Joe, the station chief in charge of managing and training a group of female undercover agents.

Nicole plays senior CIA supervisor Kaitlyn Meade in the film. She works with Marine Raider Cruz (De Oliveira) on an undercover assignment to stop another 9/11.

Amrohi, a self-made wealthy businessman with ties to terrorism, is portrayed by Bassem Youssef. Despite his efforts to reconstruct the Middle East, he first acquires fortune through legal ways but subsequently reaps the rewards of conflicts that decimate the region.

Zoe and Nicole are the executive producers of the show, which is produced for Paramount+ by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur, and Hannah Love Lanier are just a few of the brilliant actors in the cast.

Special Ops: Lioness is due to premiere on streaming platform Paramount+ on July 23. Episodes are expected to be released weekly over the course of the season.
