Many fans of country music have been left in astonishment by the stunning declaration made by singer Garth Brooks. For his most recent project, the singer has teamed up with none other than Bud Light. The musician has made the decision to serve the beer at his pub in Nashville.

People are now angry with the musician for making this remark. Michelle, who claims to have been a longtime follower of the musician since the 1990s, is outraged by his most recent statements. “Welcome to the boycott,” she concluded her message.

Other fans were also angry and said they would not just be boycotting his bar but also his music, a user tweeted, “My trash bin is full…I threw out everything that had Garth Brooks’ name on it.”

Brooks tried to give an explanation for his decision saying he loved diversity and wanted to support it. “I love diversity. All included, so all are welcome,” he said.

In April of this year, the issue around Bud Light began. Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney received some cans from the beer manufacturer. The influencer then shared videos of herself in character as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s describing the beers and how participants might win cash prizes in the company’s sweepstakes.

She also mentions in the video that the firm sent her a personalised can with her image on it to mark her 365th day of womanhood.

People complained about the beer company’s partnership and expressed outrage that a trans influencer was given a platform. Due to Anheuser-Busch’s decision to give beer to a trans influencer, country artist Travis Tritt declared he would exclude the beverage giant from his tour.

The debate surrounding Bud Light is still intense months after it first happened. What do you think about this entire situation and Garth Brook’s decision? Let us know in the comments.
