100 Km Bicycle Super Highway of Germany

Germans are really fond of doing things differently. Recently, there was a concept of AutoBahn which means that countries will ban using vehicles in certain areas to reduce the overall population. But Germans will never change and they took this pretty seriously. They have planned to create 100 Km Bicycle Super Highway so that bikers can easily use this highway to visit different places. As per the estimate, this will incredibly reduce the use of cars. As they say, Germans are pretty serious when it comes to standard. This highway is going to connect 10 different cities that will include Hamm, Bochum, and Duisburg. Germans are planning to build this road alongside an abandoned railway track. As per RVR’s Regional development manager, Martin Teonees, there are about two million people living in this area, and if they use cycles to commute then there will be 50,000 less cars per day. Now that’s a really impressive number, and it looks like 100 Km Bicycle Super Highway will complete in no time.

The first 5 kilometres has been prepared to bikers.
